About Us

Atesh is a Chartered Accountant with over 23 years’ accountancy experience. He started Biz Solutions as a boutique practice in 2000 with a miniscule client base, to a thriving business that works with more than 1,600 clients annually. He is surrounded by a great team who share the “can do” attitude as well as “clients interest first”

In other words: Atesh knows what it takes to grow a small business into a much larger business. He’s a successful business owner, as well as an accountant, and has experience in working for (and owning) a wide range of business interests.

Atesh’s CV includes the Inland Revenue Department, Auckland University, Omaha Beach Developments, property development, a superyacht company, a major bar venue, the US property market (and American taxation system), forex trading, a childcare centre, as well as a portfolio of commercial and residential real estate in Auckland. So if you’re looking to grow your wealth, business, or investment portfolio, Atesh is the man to talk to.

Biz Solutions is an accountancy firm in growth mode, yet every single customer is important to Atesh and his team. Biz Solutions has achieved 100% of Inland Revenue Department filing requirements for clients every year since 2007 (except 2012). Biz Solutions is held in high esteem by both the accountancy industry as well as its customers – which is why so much of Biz Solutions’ work is in the form of repeat business and referrals. When he’s not working, Atesh enjoys travelling, exploring new opportunities, spending time with his wife and 2 teenage kids, fishing, partying, and always having fun.

Jae joined Biz Solutions in 2006 and has made a huge contribution to the growth of the firm. Jae was appointed as Director in August 2020 after 3 years of working as an Associate in our firm. He provides the can-do attitude together with long hours required to succeed in delivering results.

Jae graduated University of Auckland and studied BCom and Diploma in Finance. He then worked 3 years at another chartered accountancy firm and property investment company in Auckland CBD before joining Biz Solutions.

With more than 13 years of New Zealand Chartered Accountancy practice experience, he provides specialist knowledge on taxation issues for small and medium business, as well as property accounting. He also works on business valuations, due diligence projects, cash flow forecasts and business plans, assisting with finance restructuring and assisting clients in negotiations with the IRD and other creditors.

Outside of work, Jae enjoys travelling, watching movies, playing soccer, golf and table tennis occasionally and spends time with family in the weekends. Jae is a member of his local church and helps out with the Church Treasury on Sundays.

Pritesh joined Biz Solutions in 2003 and progressed through the ranks to become a Director in 2013. Pritesh is responsible for the day-to-day operations, and for ensuring that staff work to the highest standards in providing first-class client services. Prior to joining the firm, Pritesh worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC) Fiji, for 3 years in the Business Advisory division.

In his 17 years in practice, Pritesh has acquired a formidable range of expertise and experience in dealing with a number of major companies and professional firms whom he advises on a wide range of commercial issues. He has formed important strategic alliances with professionals such as solicitors, bankers, and insurance brokers.

Pritesh has provided litigation support in matrimonial and disputes resolution cases for clients and offers expertise in capital raising, business evaluation, due diligence, financing and mortgage brokering.

As a Chartered Accountant in New Zealand, Pritesh has a keen interest in taxation, and advises clients on their business structure and taxation affairs. He keeps abreast with the latest developments in the business and taxation areas and always keeps an eye out for opportunities to benefit clients’ positions.

Pritesh is approachable and well-liked by his staff and clients. Through his experience and technical knowledge he is able to solve complex business problems.

Outside of work, Pritesh has keen interest in sports particularly rugby (Wallabies supporter), soccer, golf, and catching up with friends.

Jonathon joined Biz Solutions in November 2014 and has over 3 years’ experience working in a Chartered Accountancy firm. He holds a Bachelor’s of Business Studies Degree, majoring in Accounting from Massey University.

He has a keen interest in tax and is dedicated to strengthening his understanding and knowledge. Jonathon has an awesome personality and gets along with anyone. Clients and staff like to have long meaningful conversation with him about finding alternative views on most things.

Outside of work, Jonathon enjoys making the most of the outdoors, watching a variety of sports, going to the gym, and riding his motorbike.

David graduated from the University of Auckland having completed the Bachelor of Commerce with double majors in accounting & finance in 2014 and completed a post graduate diploma in Commercial Law and Trust Management from Auckland University of Technology in 2016.

David completed the Chartered Accountant programme with two certificates of merits in Financial Accounting and Taxation and was admitted as a Chartered Accountant in 2017.

David has worked for various public practices in Auckland before he joined the team at Biz Solutions in 2020. David can assist you with his expertise and knowledge gained throughout his career. David is our expert in providing a wide range of compliance-based services.

Outside of work, David enjoys spending time with his family and occasional drinks with mates.

Eugene has almost two decades of accountancy experience, the majority of which has been with medium to large-sized Chartered Accountancy firms.  Below is a quick summary of his professional backgrounds:

Because of his involvement in various industries, he is well-versed on how you can improve your business at any stage.  He can not only provide advice on the accounting services but also on the process and internal control, due diligence, valuation, and taxation services to his client base, and he can also provide expert witness accountancy services.  His past experiences include insolvency management of a nationwide company, assisting on M&A of a manufacturing company, assisting an ERP system implementation, litigation support on $22m claim, and assisting a client to negotiate with the IRD on liquidation proceedings.

His client experience ranges from small to medium sized local businesses to listed multi-national organisations, in various industries including retail, distribution, forestry, financial services, hospitality, property, childcare, Not for Profit, Construction, and Fund Management companies.

Outside of his work, Eugene enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 kids and socialising with his friends. Currently he is trying to pick up golf as a hobby.

Jacob is a Chartered Accountant with extensive experience in mid-tier public practices, in-house business partnering, and marketing sectors.

He is the go-to expert for ECE (Early Childhood Education) clients and non-profit organisations, known for his deep understanding of diverse industry needs and his ability to tailor solutions to suit each client’s unique business environment.

Vima joined Biz Solutions in 2024 as a member of our Compliance, Taxation, and Business Advisory Team. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with double majors in Accounting and Economics, and brings over 25 years of experience in accountancy and taxation. With a strong business background, Vima offers a wealth of expertise to her clients, who appreciate her professional and approachable nature.

Her experience spans managing the accounting and taxation needs of businesses ranging from small and medium-sized enterprises to large family groups across a variety of industries. Known for her
excellent listening skills, Vima is committed to building long-term, meaningful relationships with her clients.

Outside of work, Vima enjoys spending quality time with her family, especially her feline companion. She is passionate about nature walks, music, and charity work, particularly in raising awareness about glaucoma and migraines.

Jane is a qualified Chartered Accountant and has worked for several years in public practice gaining a wealth of experience before joining Biz Solutions in April 2022.

In addition to being a Xero certified advisor, Jane has in-depth knowledge in tax, systems, and business advisory services. Jane enjoys helping clients to grow their business and ensuring that they meet their taxation obligations.

Outside of work, Jane likes keeping fit at the home gym, swimming and spending time with family and friends.

Gary is an accomplished professional with a Bachelor of Commerce degree majoring in Accounting and Commercial Law from the University of Auckland. He completed the CPA Australia Program in 2020 and has extensive experience in taxation and compliance through years of work in public practice.

In 2023, Gary joined the Biz Solutions team, where he continues to excel in delivering tailored financial solutions. Outside of work, he enjoys playing competitive squash, hitting the gym, and spending quality time with his partner and rabbits.

As our Administration Manager at Biz, Taylar Muller is the organizational backbone of our team. With a strong focus on efficiency, communication, and creating a positive workplace culture, Taylar ensures that daily operations run smoothly and that every team member has the support they need to succeed.

With several years of experience in office administration and operations, Taylar brings a proactive, solutions-focused mindset to everything she does—from managing vendor relationships and coordinating office logistics to supporting HR functions and streamlining internal processes. Her ability to juggle multiple responsibilities while maintaining a calm and professional demeanour makes her an indispensable part of our company.

Taylar is passionate about creating a welcoming and productive environment where collaboration can thrive. A young and vibrant integral part of  Biz Group, Taylar brings energy, enthusiasm, and a proactive approach to her role. She enjoys the variety her position offers and takes pride in keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

Outside of work, Taylar enjoys painting, spending quality time with her friends and family, and relaxing with her four beloved cats. Her creativity and warmth extend beyond the office, making her a valued colleague and a joy to work with.
